I have been using this for a little bit. From what I can tell it does extend the range of my wifi. My router is in my living room and I usually have 2 bars in my room. So I plugged this in my den and now I have 4 bars in my room. This product is well made and it plugs into a regular outlet. It comes with easy to follow instructions.
