This is a light. It is very bright. It has many different light functions. It will go night light ( this light is green ) ,bright ,dim, dimmer, flash, speed flash, and then off. It is. A really handy light. I use it mostly everyday. I like that it has a handle that you can hang it anywhere. The button for this light is on the back of it. It does not take batteries. You have to charge it. I really like that because batteries run down quickly in these type of LED lights. Over all I am really happy with this light.
