I purchased these because I have cast iron skillets and the handle can get very hot while cooking in them. So when I start cooking in them now I put one of these sleeves on it and it does not burn my hand. I really love the design that are on these. I like that they are held together by Velcro on the back of them. This comes in a set of two and they are perfect for using with cast iron how ever I do not reccommend using them to take anything out of the oven with a handle they do get hot quickly. Over all I am very happy with these.
